Happy Lunar New Year 2024
Lunar New Year is a family celebration. Children give their parents and grandparents good wishes for the new year and show their respect for the older generation. Older members of the family give children money, usually in small packets. At Shiny Star EEC this year, we celebrate the New Year by having a variety of fun activities.

We dress up in the traditional Chinese costume and/or in red to represent good luck
Drum Play
The children enjoyed playing drum with the teacher
Chinese Calligraphy
Chinese FU symbol. The Chinese character Fu stands for good luck, good fortune, and blessing. Sometimes it also means happiness
